McDonald rolled out self-ordering kiosks for its US location in 2015. The concept was widely appreciated by its customers and turned out to be a great success. Kiosks significantly cut down queues, making the ordering process much more satisfying. Now self-ordering kiosks are available in McDonald’s worldwide locations. 3. Chili’s Tabletop Tablets
Chili’s tabletop tablet is similar to that of pizza hut interactive tabletop just with slight differences. The concept is to make the dining experience enjoyable in a way that is as delicious and inhibition-free as possible. The chili’s tabletop tablets were introduced back in 2014 and are android powered. Chili’s experiment proved to be successful and the technology is now spreading to more of its locations. The automation is amazing. Instead of waiting for an employee to bring your check, you can swipe your credit card on an electronic tablet that is available at each table, and also prints the receipt. During the meal, your kids can play games on the tablet for a flat fee of 99 cents.
