Objective
Deliver high-quality, durable signage to enhance functionality, brand consistency, and safety across the entire distribution campus.
BlinkSigns collaborated with Donnelly Construction to design, manufacture, and install a wide range of signage solutions for the Amazon Distribution Facility DW06 in Dayton, Ohio. This large-scale project required signage that supported the facility’s operational efficiency, safety, branding, and ADA compliance standards.
Wall-Mounted Building Signs
Wall-mounted front-lit channel letter signs offer bold visibility with 5" deep black aluminum returns, 3/16” acrylic faces, and 1” black trim caps. They feature either 3M Dual Color Film or a translucent film matching PMS 2995 C. Internally illuminated and flush-mounted, these signs include an internal raceway for a clean, professional finish.
Illuminated Monument Signs
The custom 8' illuminated monument signs feature durable construction and energy-efficient LEDs for long-lasting performance and reduced energy consumption. They incorporate 3/4" acrylic push-thru graphics with a C2b Squid Ink Black surface, designed to create an elegant halo-lit effect that enhances brand visibility, especially at night.
Illuminated Pylon Signs
The illuminated pylon sign includes a 2" deep aluminum cabinet with a .125" aluminum skin and internal framing. "Amazon Delivery" is displayed in 1/2" acrylic with reflective black vinyl, while directional text uses 3M black vinyl. Arrows and accent stripes match PMS 2995 blue. Supported by a 4" white aluminum post, the sign is lit by two 48" Soltech fixtures (2000 lumens each), mounted on top and facing down, with a warm 3000K color temperature.
Directional, Wayfinding, and Safety Signage
trategically placed signage ensures smooth traffic flow, clear navigation, and regulatory compliance across the site. Directional signs like trailer inspection, yard rules, and parking designations guide vehicles and personnel efficiently. Safety signage, including No Idling, Carbon Monoxide, and Emergency Vehicle signs, reinforces site rules. Together, these signs create a well-organized and secure environment.
ADA-Compliant Room Identification Signs
ADA-compliant room identification signs mark key areas like electrical rooms, exits, occupancy limits, and warehouse zones, ensuring accessibility and compliance. Fire safety signage, including extinguisher decals and exit signs, supports emergency readiness. All signage follows ADA and fire code standards. Together, they enhance safety and organization across the facility.
