Introduction

When Lush Cosmetics commissioned signage for its Scottsdale location on East Camelback Road, the objective was to create a storefront and interior brand experience that reflected the company’s bold, clean, and highly recognizable visual identity. BlinkSigns developed a coordinated exterior and interior signage package designed to enhance visibility, reinforce the LUSH brand, and integrate seamlessly into the retail environment.The store is located inside Scottsdale Fashion Square, the premier shopping destination in Scottsdale, on the second floor, making effective signage especially important for attracting foot traffic in a highly competitive retail environment

Front-Lit Channel Letters

The primary storefront sign consisted of front-lit channel letters spelling LUSH, paired with the smaller Fresh Handmade Cosmetics wording. The sign was designed with 3-inch-deep metal returns in standard black, trimless construction, and 3/16-inch white acrylic faces illuminated with white LEDs. The package also included a remote power supply and flush-mounted installation for a clean, contemporary appearance.

Die Cut Vinyl Graphics

The visual uploaded showcases an elegant design featuring die-cut vinyl graphics applied to the first surface of a wall, reinforcing LUSH’s brand messaging in a retail setting. The vinyl graphics are in a striking white color, carefully crafted to maintain a minimalistic and cohesive aesthetic. The text "FRAGRANCE" is boldly displayed in a clean, modern font, with the message beneath it reading, "WE SMELL (GREAT). OUR PERFUMES ARE MADE IN-HOUSE WITH THE FINEST ESSENTIAL OILS." This serves to highlight the essence of the brand while keeping the environment visually appealing yet uncluttered. The graphic is complemented by simple wooden shelves on the wall, further enhancing the overall minimal design and focus on the messaging. The accompanying scale drawing on the left provides detailed measurements and proportions, underscoring the precision in the application of the vinyl graphic.

The second element in the interior package features die-cut white vinyl graphics applied to an existing painted signboard. This design was chosen to further enhance LUSH’s brand presence, ensuring that its visual identity remains consistent across various surfaces. The graphics prominently display the message "A LUSH LIFE" along with the company’s core beliefs, all set against a dark background. The bold, clean white vinyl creates a striking contrast with the backdrop, making the message stand out. This application not only reinforces the brand's values but also complements the overall minimalist and professional aesthetic, adding depth and impact to the space. The die-cut vinyl graphics help maintain a cohesive and polished look throughout the retail environment.
