We handle the entire process through the Accela (eLAPS) and ProjectDox portals, ensuring your plans are sealed by a Michigan-licensed engineer when required for structural or wind-load compliance.
For the Detroit climate, we recommend 5052-H38 Marine-Grade Aluminum or 316 Stainless Steel. These alloys contain molybdenum or specific magnesium levels that resist the “pitting” and corrosion caused by winter road salt spray. Unlike standard steel or wood, these won’t rust or rot when exposed to the 40+ annual freeze-thaw cycles common in Metro Detroit.
